The ADA Generation: New Perspectives on Employment and College Graduates with Disabilities
The Kessler Foundation and the New Hampshire Institute on Disability invite you to join a live webinar on June 3, 2020. Entitled "The ADA Generation: New Perspectives on Employment and College Graduates with Disabilities", the session will feature experts from both organizations discussing findings from the Kessler Foundation's survey of recent college graduates and employment prospects for individuals with disabilities.
Thirty years after the ADA, approximately 12% of college graduates are individuals with disabilities, but what do we know about their college experiences and their success in the workplace? Experts will share what they have learned from the 4,500 recent college graduates, with and without disabilities, who participated in this survey.
The webinar will expand your knowledge of education and employment in the post-ADA era, and help you gain a new perspective on the factors contributing to the success of people with disabilities in the workplace.
How do graduates compare in their choices of college settings, majors, advising, services, internships, degrees, career goals, and work experiences?
How do these factors relate to finding employment post-college, their income, occupations, and job satisfaction?
