Used courtesy of Pexels.com.July is Disability Pride Month and this year it is even more special due to the 30th anniversary of the passing of the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA).  Disability Pride is the idea that people with disabilities should be proud of their disabled identity. People with disabilities are the largest and most diverse minority within the population, representing all abilities, ages, races, ethnicities, religions and socio-economic backgrounds. Due to COVID-19, many of the activities that typically occur in the community are being organized online including Virtual Parades and Virtual Signs.
