Hazard Preparation for People with Disabilities
The University of Kansas’ Research and Training Center on Independent Living had created a handy guide for preparing for hazards for people with disabilities. The Prepared Lifestyle: How to Plan for Seasonal and Pandemic Flu and Other Emergencies is a packet of simple to follow checklists and narrative resources that provide an overview of how to prepare for different emergency situations in a variety of settings. Though it would have been great to have something like this prior to COVID-19, it is never too early to prepare for another potential disaster situation.
