COVID-19 Loneliness

The effects of pandemic-related isolation are ongoing, and the true toll of this loneliness is yet to be seen as we emerge from COVID-related restrictions.  This article focuses on the role psychiatrists will play in the coming months and years to help address this loneliness. The article includes links to studies, resources, and innovative programs, but most importantly it includes the reminder that “the best cure for loneliness can be as simple as kindness and compassion.” Take a moment for this interesting read.
