Quality Management (QM) Certification Program

To build system capacity, grow a culture of quality, and ensure success in applying QM principles and practices, ODP offers a QM Certification curriculum aimed at enhancing the QM knowledge and skills of ODP staff and stakeholders across the service delivery system.

Individuals who complete QM Certification will:  

  • Learn about QM methodology and implementation and how it supports ODP’s mission, vision, and values 

  • Practice, through hands-on exercises, how to develop QM plans, apply the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle, organize and analyze data to monitor progress, write QM reports, and much more

  • Establish networking relationships across the system that include ODP QM certified staff from HCQUs, Administrative Entities, Supports Coordination Organizations and Providers

 Entities with a QM certified person will receive benefits towards: 

  • Achieving continuous quality improvement across all service delivery functions

  • Offering the highest quality services that promote choice and control in individuals’ everyday lives 

  • Safeguarding the health and safety of individuals receiving services 

  • Implementing positive and promising practices 

  • Ensuring program compliance with regulations

This course is only available to ODP QM Certificants who achieved certification or re-certified during Calendar Year 2023 and are due for recertification by December 31, 2025.
