This virtual, live training session is part of the Terp Training Series with PA’s Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) and was presented on July 29, 2025 in American Sign Language. Interpreting for folks with intellectual and developmental disabilities requires a variety of specialized skills. Understanding the varying perspectives both within and outside of the community is essential to doing your best work. This session takes a deeper dive into the variety of ways sign language is used in the context of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
