This presentation covers key aspects of adaptive functioning in the autism spectrum disorders, and common challenges and priorities for educational programming. It also reviews clinical and research aspects of circumscribed interests displayed by these individuals, functions of these behaviors, and the potential for using these skills in educational programming.
