This training discusses the benefits of using clear and concise language when teaching skills, assisting clients in creating their own goals, and providing practice for adults on the spectrum. Participants will be able to identify social gaps among individuals with ASD; identify ways to assess and track social skills; empower adults to create their own measurable and attainable goals; and establish effective means of communicating with adult clients and providing feedback.
