Presented by Beth Glasberg, Ph.D.

This session will summarize research-based strategies to support siblings of individuals with ASD. Specifically, Dr. Glasberg-Katz will describe common concerns of siblings at different ages, along with specific approaches to address these concerns. Examples include best practices for sharing information across development, teaching young siblings to play with their brother or sister with autism, or teaching adult siblings to prepare for financial demands. This session will also address strategies for teaching siblings palliative coping skills, such as problem solving or communicating with parents.
