The 12th Annual Pennsylvania Autism Training Conference took place Sept. 5th and 6th at the Lancaster Marriott. Over the course of two days, professionals from across the commonwealth had the opportunity to hear from experts in behavioral health. Held at the Lancaster Convention Center (Lancaster, PA), this year’s conference boasted the title #PATCInteract2019. The “Interact” theme offered conference-goers the opportunity to learn from subject matter experts one-on-one at a mentoring breakfast and a provider poster session and an opportunity to attend a network event featuring live music by guitarist Zayne Harshaw.
Those who could not make it to PATC had the opportunity to hear from subject matter experts during Facebook live interviews led by the PA ASERT team after key presentations. The live sessions reached thousands, and hundreds interacted with social media posts. About 270 people attended the conference, nearly half of whom were new to PATC.
