The College of Direct Support (CDS) is a nationally recognized web-based training curriculum that provides learning opportunities on many topics of importance to people with developmental disabilities and those who support them. Since 2003, the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, Office of Developmental Programs has supported the use of the CDS as a way to offer effective, consistent training to Direct Support Professionals, Supports Coordinators, supervisory and managerial staff, self-advocates, families and other interested parties across the Commonwealth.
